It is mainly used in the continuous casting technology of steelmaking for pouring melted iron from additive bay of converter to converter; lifting molten steel from refining bay to refining furnace or lifting molten steel from molten steel bay to ladle turret of continuous casting machine.

I. Brief Introduction of Molten Steel Casting Crane

Steel factory EOT crane for ladle liftingwith hook mainly consists of main beam, hook trolley, crane traveling mechanism, cabin and electric controlling system, etc. Foundry crane is one of the main equipment in the continuous casting technology of steel making. It is mainly used transfer the pouring melted iron to the appointed place, and the thermal-protective coating is added at the bottom of the main girder. The place where molten nonmetal material and red-hot solid metal is lifted. The casting overhead crane are heavy duty for 20-24hours working

II. Application of steel making plant ladle crane

It is mainly used in the continuous casting technology of steelmaking for pouring melted iron from additive bay of converter to converter; lifting molten steel from refining bay to refining furnace or lifting molten steel from molten steel bay to ladle turret of continuous casting machine.

Features

To ensure crane’s safe operation, limit switches are equipped on each mechanism. When mechanism travels to pointed position, the limit switch is triggered. The power is cut off and brake is closed, travelling stopped. For convenience of operator and maintainer, passageway of 500mm are required between cabin and bridge beam.

Our cranes are designed strictly according to China Crane Design Regulations. For ladle crane, its utilize class is U6, that is, the total working cycle above 1x106 times. Each mechanism working class must be higher than M6.
